  • Mario Marcell Haggan was born March 3, 1980.

  • Named an All-American and led his team to the state Class 4A Championship in 1997 while attending Clarksdale High School. 

  • He played linebacker and defensive end at Mississippi State University from 1998-2002, where he was the Bulldogs' leading tackler in each of his last three seasons. 

  • Drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the 7th Round of the 2003 NFL Draft.

  • One of only two Bronco players to start every game in 2009 and 2010. 

  • Haggan registered 283 tackles and 8 forced fumbles in 132 games in his 10-year NFL career.

  • Married to Tanika Haggan, a former volleyball player at Mississippi State.
