Terms & Conditions

DIAMOND EXPRESS TRAVELS

 

BOOKINGS ACCEPTED ARE SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

1. BOOKING AND PAYMENTS
In order to confirm your place on any tour, cruise, flight or hotel reservation, a deposit or full payment must be paid before confirmation documents can be sent. Upon receipt of your deposit or full payment of desired booking, we will send you confirmation of your booking along with details for the payment of the remaining balance. The booking will not be accepted and no contract raised until the deposit is received. Most vendors require a balance to be paid in full within 45 days of the departure date. Payment plans are accepted. If the balance is not paid by the due date, Diamond Express Travels and its preferred partners and vendors will treat the booking as cancelled and apply the cancellation charges as detailed below. The Company will not accept responsibility for any monies sent by post. Payment can be made by debit or credit cards. We cannot process any travel packages paid via cash, check, money orders, PayPal or Square services.

2. CANCELLATIONS
Each vendor has its own cancellation policies which will be provided to clients at the time of bookings. There is a service charge of $100 USD per person on cancellations within 60 days of the booking departure date paid to the Company itself. Deposits are non-refundable unless credited towards another trip departing within one year or travel protection plans were purchased and applied at the time of the booking. We strongly recommend purchasing travel protection plans with each travel package booked as you will be protected with travel coverage and insurance. Vendors and the Company rarely cancels any tours or bookings, but reserve the right to do so for any reason. If the booking is cancelled by the Company or vendors, all payments will be returned in full. 

3. PRICES
Prices are subject to change if payment for bookings have not been paid. For airline tickets, additional baggage charges may apply. Hotel rates are provided based on availability at the time of booking. Many tours and excursions require a minimum number of people to be conducted. If the minimum requirement is not met, changes to price and/or cancellations may apply. All extra charges and optional activities not mentioned or included in the booking itinerary must be paid by you.

4. PASSPORTS AND VISAS
Clients must ensure that they are aware of all relevant passport and visa requirements and that they allow adequate time to obtain them. You can obtain visas from the US Embassy or consulate in your country. Most countries and travel destinations allow visas to be purchased and obtained on the spot upon arrival at the airport. Please check the following page for visa information: https://travel.state.gov/

5. INSURANCE
At Diamond Express, we care about your safety and want to ensure your trip is enjoyable and worry free. Because the unforeseen can happen and unexpected can occur, we recommend the Travel Insurance Plan or Travel Protection Coverage. Comprehensive travel insurance is essential, especially for international travel. We recommend that you purchase insurance in conjunction with your booking or arrange your own prior to traveling. Buy simple and flexible travel insurance from Travel Insured Plan as it offers excellent benefits and combines insurance coverage with emergency hotline services. Please consider protecting your valuable travel investment.


6. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Your booking is accepted on the understanding that you realize the inherent risks and hazards of the any travel bookings, tours, and flights and agree to take full responsibility for your actions and safety. The Company is not held liable or responsible for any damages, mishaps or incidents during your travels. It is necessary to agree to abide by the authority of the all tour guides for guided tours and excursions, flight attendants and other other tour operators working to ensure the safety and welfare of you, your group and others. Any action that jeopardizes this may result in you being asked to leave the tour, depart the plane or being removed from any establishment with no right to a refund or any compensation.
 

Special requests and any medical issues or conditions must be brought to our attention at the time of booking. We cannot be held liable for any actions or events that could have been avoided with proper disclosure of information. Personal property is always your own responsibility, as is ensuring that you have all the appropriate passport and visa requirements for the duration of the tour. Please be mindful that many establishments and vendors do not allow smoking. It is polite to ask or make special requests prior to travel and bookings in order to mitigate any issues upon arrival. 

7. OUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Diamond Express Travels responsibility only starts at the time a booking is made and confirmed. We cannot be held liable for any expense or inconvenience before that, or once a booking is made, paid in full and travel is being conducted. However, our Company provide 24/7 customer service access to resolve and mitigate any unforeseen issues that may arise or be experienced. We are not responsible for any terrorist attacks, political unrest, war, earthquakes, landslides, cancellations or delays of airlines and train companies.

8. ITINERARIES AND BOOKING DETAILS
The itineraries should be taken as an indication of what each individual or group booking should complete and not as a contractual obligation. The nature of any booking or confirmation requires a flexible approach to the stated itinerary and all participants should accept this flexibility and acknowledge that delays and alterations and their results (such as inconvenience or disappointment) are possible. No refund or compensation will be given for any unused transport, accommodation, services or features of a tour or cruise. All details are accurate at time of booking. Any significant changes or alterations will be brought to your attention at the time of booking. 

9. COMPLAINTS
Any problems or complaints should be raised and brought to the Company's attention at the earliest opportunity and they will normally be rectified or appropriate action taken. 

10. LEGAL TERM
All terms and conditions are made subject to, and enforced by, US law and must be done so in a United States court. If you require further action on return we will try and work towards an agreed settlement but you must notify us in writing within 21 days of the completion date of any tour, booking, flight or reservations made and confirmed. 


The company DIAMOND EXPRESS TRAVELS, owned by Independent Travel Agent, Jaleesa Collins, is registered in the United States with INTELETRAVEL.COM, and recognized by the United States Tourism Agency.
